Whenever I get the chance to eat at a Cracker Barrel restaurant, I am there! I love their rustic charm and their food is wonderful! And I really like browsing around their gift shop, too!
and trying to come up with as many happy memories as I can. Sometimes that is hard to do!
I know of one new baby born this year on Leap Day. I don’t think she has a name yet, as her parents were surprised that she came a couple weeks early. Mom and daughter are doing OK – that’s the important part – and now she gets a special birthday date, too.

I’d like to buy an RV, but with the price of gas, it will have to wait! Most of the RV’s are gas hogs. I’m afraid that the day of buying an RV to save money on vacations may be ending. That was what I was most looking forward to about retiring – traveling at my leisure all across America. Now I don’t know that I will be able to do that.
It’s the new year but I’ve got a case of the Blues. January is a cold, wet, dark month. I can’t wait for it to end.February is at least a short month, then we can move along into Spring.
